FUEL AND INJECTION

The fuel pump is modified with 13 mm elements and set to 26 degrees before top.

The regulator is tightened up and set to max 4500 rpm with a max of 900 mm3 diesel for each stroke.

The nozzle is from a marine engine.

 

TURBO CHARGERS

6 HOLSET and KKK turbo´s giving 8,5 bar pressure.

 

DATALOGGER

Mounted to register turbo pressure, temperature and engine rpm during the pull.

 

DIFFERENTIAL

From a VOLVO 613.

 

HUB REDUCTION

Type DAF.

 

REAR WHEEL

30.5 x 32 Taurus with homemade cutting. The Wheel rotates with a speed of 85 km a hour at 4000 rpm on the engine.

 

GEARBOX

Home build with 2 gears forward and 1 reverse. 60 mm wide gears. With the possibility to change gearing.

 

CLUTCH 

Homemade "CROWER" type clutch with 5 x 11" plates.

 

OIL SYSTEM

Changed to 2 external pumps and American race filters.

 

ENGINE 

SCANIA V8 140/141/142 with lowered compression, strengthened under engine with stronger bolts and a steeper camshaft. Is good for around 1500 hp.

 

WATER TANK

We use around 5 liters of water each pull to cool the air from the turbo chargers.

 

DIESEL TANK

The diesel consumption is around 4 liters a pull. 

 

FRAME

Homemade in chrome molydam steel.

 

FRONT WHEEL 

From a 6.5 feed combine harvester.
